The large north window of this second-floor corner room opens onto our courtyard, with live oaks beckoning to you from just beyond the screen. Enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset through the west window. Open both windows, turn on the ceiling fan, and relax in the crossing breeze.

Nature’s beauty resides inside, too: floral wallpaper, hardwood pine floors, a vintage walnut desk at the west window, and an antique armoire -- atop which a small finch happens to nest.

The room also includes a comfy love seat to rest your head, and a recessed, private bathroom with a cultured, marble shower.

Are you wondering how the Regatta Room got its name? Perhaps it is from the painting of the clipper ship sailing boldly above the king bed, or perhaps from the painting of a family of swans about to take to the water.
