Double your pleasures in the Magnolia Suite, which fills the second story of our cottage with two bedrooms, north and south, separated by the suite's bathroom. But, you likely will be spending much of your time on the Magnolia's outdoor, top-of-the-stairs deck, on the cottage's east side.
Nearby live oaks, palms, and magnolias are almost within touching distance -- and that means, during blooming season, the sweet perfume of magnolia blooms will scent the air.
But at any time of the year, the Magnolia's deck will entice you outside to take in the ample view of the Intracoastal Waterway, whether during afternoon tea, twilight, moonrise, or a night of star-gazing.
Each bedroom includes natural wicker queen beds, matching wicker night stands, wicker benches at the foot of the beds, gorgeous handmade quilts, carpeted floors, and ceiling fans.
The south bedroom affords a window glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway -- without leaving your bed -- and a vintage, wooden rocking chair. The north bedroom includes an upholstered love seat and a north-facing window.
The bathroom features a tub, shower, and a tile floor, as well as decorative wall tile.
